Mary Bradbury founded Analytical Consulting in 2009.
She is a psychoanalyst with a PhD in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. She has written articles, chapters and a book on the topics of death, mental illness, stigma, stress and wellbeing. She is the writer and presenter of the feature “The City on the Couch”, broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
In addition to her work as a mental health consultant, Mary is a psychoanalyst in private practice and a Clinic Consultant at the London Clinic of Psychoanalysis. She is currently an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London, and was formerly a Visiting Lecturer and an adult psychotherapist at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
Mary is a Member of the International Psychoanalytic Association and the British Psychological Society, as well as being a Registrant of the British Psychoanalytic Council. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Psychoanalysis.
